It is very boring for a computer user when he see the “Welcome” message for a couple of minute. Your computer can slow down for many reasons. To fasten up your computer on start up, go to c:\ and find the file Msdos.sys. Remove the Read-Only option. Next, open it in Notepad or any other text editor. Finally, go to the text ‘Options’ within the file and make the following changes:)
Add BootDelay=0. To make your booting even faster, set add Logo=0 to remove the Windows logo at startup.

2. Restart only Windows :)
When restarting your PC, hold down Shift to only restart Windows rather than the whole system which will only take a fraction of the time.

Go to the Start menu and select Run. Now type Regedit and hit Enter. The Registry Editor will appear on the screen. Now, open the folder HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop. You should see a MenuShowDelay value. If you don’t then do the following:) right click on a blank space in the right pane and select New\String. Change the name in the new value to MenuShowDelay. Now that we have the MenuShowDelay value, double click on it and enter 0 in the value data field. This sets the start menu delay to 0 milliseconds.

4. Defragment Your Computer :)

Facebook on Thursday rolled out Trusted Contacts account recovery, a feature it has tested with a limited number of people as the Trusted Friends capability since 2011.

Users can select three to five trusted contacts from their security settings at any time. These contacts should be available via phone or in person.

This feature could be helpful when a user suffers a mass compromise, meaning he or she loses access both to email and other accounts as a direct result of malware infestation, said Bogdan "Bob" Botezatu, senior e-threat analyst at Bitdefender. "However, these cases are rare, and most users lose access only to specific accounts in targeted phishing schemes."

How Trusted Contacts Works

Once users go into their Facebook Security Settings and select three to five people as trusted contacts, Facebook notifies those people.

When users can't log into their Facebook accounts, they can turn to their trusted contacts for help. Each contact will get a security code with instructions on how to use it. Users need security codes from three trusted contacts to recover their Facebook accounts.

"When there's a problem, Facebook will generate an URL dynamically and the user's trusted contacts go into their own personal security settings and find the URL," Ragni said. The URL will give the contact a code and instructions on what to do with it.

Users whose accounts have been hacked have to report this to Facebook first, she added.
Will Trusted Contacts Work?

The Trusted Friends feature, which is the basis for the Trusted Contacts capability, was tested by only a small group of people, Ragni said.

Therein lies a potential problem. It's likely the initial group was only testing the feature for logic flaws, Bitdefender's Botezatu told TechNewsWorld. However, "the true power of a feature is only visible if it is able to prove effective in real-life scenarios."

On the other hand, the requirement that the user have three codes in order to recover an account "makes this relatively safe, especially if the three contacts don't know each other," he said. "It's not like giving the keys to the kingdom to a single person."
The Rule of Three

Another safety feature: Facebook lets users delegate up to five trusted contacts but requires only three keys, Botezatu said. That way, if one or two of the contacts' accounts have been hacked, the required three keys will still be available.

"Of course, if an attacker manages to seize control of the accounts of at least three people delegated as trusted contacts for another account, this will likely result in the last account being compromised," he noted. "However, I believe that the statistics weigh in favor of security rather than insecurity."
Two-Factor Authentication

A security measure suggested for public-facing sites such as Facebook and Twitter is two-factor authentication. This requires two items for identification -- something a person knows, such as a password, and something a person has, such as a token or, in the case of Google, a code that Google will send to the user's mobile phone.

However, two-factor authentication is "relatively hard" to achieve nowadays without specialized hardware, Botezatu said. Most two-factor authentication mechanisms rely on SMS messages or the generation of one-time passwords through a mobile application.As per latest news.

BMW's net profit down 3 percentage to 1.312 billion euros as revenues declined 4.1 percent to 17.55 billion euros.

Munich-based BMW said earnings would continue to be affected by higher expenses for investment in new technology and production facilities. Renewing the model line with fresh designs and the latest technology is considered key to the automaker's profitability down the road. BMW's luxury brand identity also depends in part on deploying the latest technologies such as the lightweight carbon-fiber materials used in its i3 electric compact.

And the drop in profit was not as big as at Volkswagen, where earnings fell 38 percentage in the twenty-five%, or at Daimler, where they were off 60 percentage. U.S. based Ford Motor Co.'s European operation lost $462 million in the same twenty-five%.

BMW gave a cautious outlook, staying with its forecast for earnings "on a similar scale" to last year's and for increased in unit sales.

If you write something which helps your reader it will propel the reader to check out your website for more stuff. It will in turn increase the chances of contextual ads being clicked. Apart from that the visitor will come back to check out your website again for some useful stuff again. It also helps your site build a brand and loyalty. So here are 5 tips that should increase your CTR,read crefully


1. Wrap your Adsense code with its own div class and css style the background.
This works well with 728 x 90 banner ads, especially if your website is wider and you want to center the Adsense code. I would add a color to the div background (I use a very subtle shade of grey) and add padding so that it separated the ad block from the rest of your content. You can also add a border which will works and makes the Adsense ads look bigger which help for better CTR. Often the ads can make a website look very messy so separating them from the rest of your website will help to clean it up and people will see them better.
2. Not all ads are made equal. Only select the recommended ad sizes, these are:
728 x 90 – Leader board
300 x 250 – Medium Rectangle
336 x 280 – Large Rectangle
160 x 600 – Skyscraper
Though it is no secret,its actually known to all and this has being reported all over the internet this is actually quite a big issue, especially for those who have only just started with Adsense. Though there are quiet a few other ad block sizes available, those 4 work the best by far in my experience.
3. Lay your website out to allow for Adsense. Though most people don’t like to design a website around ads it actually can help to improve your CTR. Sure content is the key to your traffic and thus getting more clicks, however without good layout for ads they will get overlooked and your CTR will be low. Ads that get overlooked tend to be ones which alert the reader “these are tacky ads” or they completely miss them. I have found the best ad placement for a forum is the banner ad at the top and bottom and also just below the first post.
This is an example of a forum layout I like to use when faced with a standard styled forum. If you feel confident in forum styling I would highly recommend a layout similar to a blog.

For a blog the best placements are just below the title using a 336 x 280 rectangle or in the sidebar above the page fold. Depending on your blog type you can also get good CTR by placing a 336 x 280 ad block or if wide enough 728 x 90 ad block at the end of your content. If you have just given advice on a product then the reader will be naturally incline to look for links to this product and Adsense will display ads which are relevant to your topic (most of the time). If you have a sidebar you will want to make it large enough to take 336 x 280 rectangles. I haven’t found the header ads next to the logo effective inside a blog. I think people are more inclined to skip the header and focus more on the title and body area of your blog.

If you have a 2 column layout then the skyscraper blocks will work well. These work the best when you have them in the natural navigation areas, so usually on the left above the page fold.

4. Use Link units and also Google Custom Search. The link units are actually great and often look similar to navigation bars. The famous placement is usually in areas close to where you where  you want  navigation buttons. Though revenue is not earned when this is click, it’s only earned when the user clicks a link on search page it navigates to. These tricks are working well and well. Custom search is great, forum so rather than using the inbuilt search systems in both the different applications I can use the best search tool available – Google. The great part is that you can create a custom search page, so the results look like they are within your own website. You make revenue when someone clicks a sponsored link in the search results. most find this has a very high CTR and also it helps my site with a great site wide search bar. The best placement for this varies according to the type of page. For instance on a page filled with articles and links you should put the search bar in a very obvious area and make it large, so users can easily search. For general pages usually the search bar is found on the right side near the navigation bar. I find users find it easy there.
5. Make sure you style the ads to fit in with your websites color and layout and some extra features. Playing around with the color of your font on the ads is important and can often be overlooked or done terribly. The trick is to make the title a shade brighter than the titles on your website, keep the body copy black or a dark grey, make the link the same color as your links on your website and background and border should be the same color as the background behind them.
These are just 5 tips on how most of them will  managed to increase the CTR for their websites. You will need to play around with your layout and also the color of the adsense ads you use. Do lots of testing as its worth spending a few days ou need to make sure that your ads adhere to the strict Adsense rules.
